Owyhee County Museum

Preserving Owyhee County’s history since 1961 the museum comprises of two acres of buildings full of collections and history. The Museum is the only one in the state with an operation printing press, stamp mill and gives rides on tractors and a 1915 Model T. The museum features extensive collections of 150+ year old wagons, buggies and stagecoaches and antique farming and wrench collection. Pack and lunch and spend couple of hours wandering through the museum and its historic buildings. Like the 1900 Murphy School house and the 1922 Marsing train depot. The museum also features an extensive library and archives and hold the counties history of hundreds of photographs and newspaper records.
