The last city upriver from Hells Canyon, and the fiddling capital of the world, Weiser makes a great stop or homebase for exploring this part of Southwest Idaho. Check out the Weiser River Trail, a former railroad freight line turned riverside path. Weiser is also home to the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest, where fiddlers from around the country come to show off their skills.
