Desert Mountain Visitor Center
Peer into Mountain Home’s rugged history and rich heritage as a military base, farming community and import railway stop during the Wild West. Located right off 1-84, this visitor’s center features old train cars, an airplane from Idaho’s only Air Force base and the Mountain Home Museum. It’s a great stop during a motorcycle ride or road trip.
