About SWITA

The Southwest Idaho Travel Association (SWITA) is the regional tourism marketing organization for Southwest Idaho. Our mission is to share the beauty and adventure of Southwest Idaho with the world, ultimately increasing tourism and building Idaho’s economy.

Stretching east from the Idaho-Oregon border to Glenns Ferry and north from the Idaho-Nevada border to New Meadows, SWITA represents dramatic deserts, vibrant cities, wild rivers, and breathtaking mountains. More importantly, we represent the individuals, organizations and communities that rely on tourism for their livelihoods.

Membership Matters

SWITA is a membership organization. While our primary funding source is an Idaho Travel Council (ITC) grant, SWITA Memberships allow us to increase the exposure of our region and our individual businesses — attracting more visitors and their dollars.

Our Board

SWITA is governed by an all-volunteer board made up of local industry professionals. Anyone is more than welcome to attend any of the SWITA Board of Directors Meetings. The SWITA Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 8 a.m. Location varies. If you’re interested in coming by a Board Meeting, please contact us.
