Photos & Videos Wanted
The Southwest Idaho Travel Association (SWITA) is in search of photos and videos featuring the landscapes, activities, and people of our region.
SWITA invites photographers to submit high-quality photos and videos for use on the SWITA website, in email communication, in print and digital advertisements, and in other mediums/channels in exchange for licensing rights for the defined uses. Usage is for tourism promotion to our region.

The Southwest Idaho Travel Association (SWITA) is in search of photos and videos featuring the landscapes, activities, and people of our region.
Our hope is that participants can reach into their libraries and find a way to profit from their work while also supporting tourism in our region. Of course, we will be compensating photographers — more on this below.
How Does It Work?
To submit your material for consideration, complete the short contact form below and upload low-res photos and videos for consideration. SWITA will review the photos that match the criteria.
If your submission is selected, you will be informed within two weeks. Once you agree to the terms, submit high-resolution files, and provide complete contact details, payment will be issued.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA
Unfortunately, we cannot accept all photos and videos. To be considered, your submission must be:
- Yours to submit and license. You must be the creator and copyright holder of the photo you submit. Verification may be required.
- Representative of a topic listed in our “target list.”
- A minimum resolution of at least 150 pixels per inch at 1024px in width.
- Suitable across multiple mediums (website, print, etc.)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How will SWITA be using my photos?
The images will primarily be used on the SWITA website and on social media, though the license grants us the right to use them elsewhere.
Is this an exclusive license?
No. You are free to continue to use your photo however you’d like.
What is the term of the license?
For simplicity’s sake, you will be granting a license in perpetuity.
Will I be credited?
Often, but not always. We work hard to credit photographers wherever possible. However, there are some applications where this is not practical.
Can I submit more than one photo?
Yes, you may submit more than one photo. We encourage you to submit any photos or videos you feel would be of interest!
When/how will I get paid?
Once your photo is accepted, checked for quality, and the licensing agreement is signed, a check will be issued within 30 days.
